RESEARCH

From academic models
to everyday services.

Joint research connecting AI and everyday services.

Research center concept
ABOUT THE CENTER

Built together.
Research with a practical purpose.

On 3 August 2026, following consultation with HIRUCORE and a decision by the Institute for Management Decision and Evaluation at Harbin Institute of Technology (哈工大管理决策与评价研究所), the HIRUCORE Research Center for AI and Public Service Innovation was established within the institute.

Jointly developed by the two parties, the center works on decision research, evaluation consulting, technology applications, research commercialization and talent exchange in AI and everyday services.

The center focuses on research, while the company develops products and manages commercial operations.

RESEARCH DIRECTIONS

Three research directions

We define research questions around labor-intensive processes and complex fulfillment in real service operations.

Operations Optimization

QuestionHow should capacity, dispatch and routes adapt to variable demand when delivery and empty-bottle collection take place together?

ApproachOperations research, integer programming and Demand Forecasting, with dynamic capacity allocation.

ApplicationLast-mile two-way logistics for bottled water and empty-bottle returns.

AI industry applications

QuestionHow can AI Agent, computing resources, computing–energy coordination and industry models be applied in practice?

ApproachFollow industry developments and develop analytical perspectives.

ApplicationIndustry commentary covering advanced equipment, computing and storage, AI education and computing–energy coordination.

Research commercialization

QuestionHow can academic models become commercially deployable engineering systems?

ApproachJoint research, simulation and industry pilots with academic institutes.

ApplicationDevelop technical proposals and planned research outputs to support product engineering.

PARTNERSHIP

Joint research with an academic institute

We collaborate with the Institute for Management Decision and Evaluation at Harbin Institute of Technology (哈工大管理决策与评价研究所) on delivery-dispatch algorithms, connecting research, simulation and field pilots.

  1. 01

    Research

Model Operations Optimization, integer programming and Demand Forecasting.

  2. 02

    Simulation

Evaluate delivery-dispatch algorithms in a simulated environment.

  3. 03

    Industry pilots

Trial the approach in operational fulfillment scenarios.

  4. 04

    Product development

Build deployable engineering systems for products such as Songshuitong.

OUTPUTS

Research outputs

Patents

In preparation

Preparations are underway to apply for invention patents for the relevant technologies.

Technical proposals

Ongoing development

We continue to develop a Demand Forecasting–capacity allocation–order execution–data feedback dispatch loop for Songshuitong. Field pilots are part of the development plan.
